The beautiful island of Brigantine, NJ is home to eighteen year old Alexa Brunetti. Alexa is a 2008 graduate of Holy Spirit High School and is currently a freshman at Atlantic-Cape Community College. A self described beach bum, Alexa lives for the summer and loves surfing, bodyboarding, running on the beach and mix martial arts.

Alexa enjoys acting and modeling. A graduate of Weiss Barron Acting School and Barbizon Modeling & Acting Center, Alexa has been paving the way for a future in show business. While in high school, Alexa performed in her school productions of Pirates of Penzance, Grease, and Into the Woods. Alexa was also cast as the wicked step-mother in her local summer theater program’s production of Cinderella. Alexa was honored to be named co-director the following summer in the play The King and I. She has modeled for Paul Mitchell hair shows in both Atlantic City and New York City, modeled at boat shows and numerous runway fashion shows. She has also appeared as an onstage guest on the Tyra Banks Show.

In high school, Alexa was in the school chorus and a member of SADD & DARE. An avid writer, her original poem “The Beach” was published. Alexa’s graduating class of 2008 voted hers the best smile in the class superlatives.

Alexa’s favorite quote “Be the change you want to see in the world”, are words she lives by. Very active in her community, she has volunteered for such worthy charities as The Atlantic City Rescue Mission, The Food Bank of South Jersey, The Salvation Army, The Ronald McDonald House of Camden, Susan G. Komen for the cure, Big Brother/Big Sister of America and the American Red Cross. Alexa is looking forward to spending this year as Miss New Jersey Teen USA continuing her service to the community.

Alexa enjoys spending time with her parents and sister, Adriana. She would like to thank them for all of their love and support.
